Sitting or standing for long periods in a concentrated posture often leads to tension and back problems. Our ergonomic musician seating solutions relieve pressure on the spine and allow for better breathing. They are a perfect complement for both music school and rehearsal room, as well as for the performance in the concert hall.

Height adjustment: Easy and generous regulation of the seat height: Push the lever under the seat surface upwards and adjust your individual seat height steplessly. For music students we recommend lift height 1 and 2: WS1S = from 36 – 52 cm, WS2S = from 46 – 67 cm; for use as a conductor’s chair we recommend lift height 3: WS3S = from 53 – 81 cm. The total height depends on the type of seat.

Seats: Round seat Ø 35 cm “R” upholstered, round seat Ø 40 cm “R40” (temporarily available only by direct request), saddle seat “XL”; The ergonomically shaped saddle seat with built-in pelvic support supports an upright sitting posture and gives optimum legroom.

Backrest: Possible as additional equipment, recommended for use as a musician’s chair in a music club or orchestra. The backrest follows your body movements with an equally soft springiness and is individually adjustable: loosen the upper ball handle and adjust the backrest continuously until you feel the optimum height to support the lordosis of the spine (slight S-shape). Then tighten the handle again. With the other ball handle under the seat you can change the seat depth in the same way.

Base: Extra flat, fixed metal base plate for optimum legroom, Ø 39 cm, black powder-coated, with felt floor protectors on the underside.

Foot ring: infinitely height adjustable: Available as additional equipment for LeitnerStabil 3. The foot ring is intended as an ascending aid and supports the recommended relief of the legs when sitting higher and standing at high work tables.
